General Terms of Sale & Use for the ISIC Card

Preamble

These General Terms of Sale (hereinafter “GTS”) govern the sale of the ISIC (International Student Identity Card) through the website www.studentcard.al (hereinafter “the Website” or “the Platform”) owned by Contemporary Student Solutions Albania (hereinafter, “CSSA”), an entity with registered office at: “Rruga Bulevardi Kryesor, Lagja 4, Zona Kadastrale 8514, Durrës, Shqipëri, 2001”, registered in the National Business Registry in 16/07/2024 with identification number M41916501C.

CSSA is the issuing body of ISIC cards in Spain and acts on behalf of the International Association “ISIC Organization.”

The GTS are subject to Albanian law and are directed at students (hereinafter “the User,” “the client,” and/or “you”).

ARTICLE 1 – PRICE

1.1 – The price of the ISIC Card is 600 Lekë (six hundred lekë) in its digital version. An optional 400 Lekë (four hundred lekë) is added if a plastic version is requested, and 200 Lekë (two hundred lekë) to cover shipping and handling costs. The total standard price of the card in its physical version is 1200 Lekë (twelve hundred lekë) and 600 Lekë (six hundred lekë) in its digital version.

1.2 – The prices of our products are indicated in Lekë (ALL) with VAT and processing fees included. However, transportation is not included in the price. The price of the cards will be reflected on the platform in accordance with what is stated in point 1.1 of the first article. If a typographical or printing error occurs, CSSA will inform the User as soon as possible of this circumstance and proceed to correct the typographical or printing error. If one or more taxes or contributions (e.g., possible environmental contributions) are created or modified, CSSA will inform the User of this change in the sale price.

1.3 – The User who places an order for a country other than Albania will be considered the importer of the product and, therefore, will be solely responsible for paying applicable customs duties, import taxes, or tariffs. If necessary, we advise you to inquire about these tax implications applicable to your country of origin.

1.4 – All orders, regardless of the User’s origin, will be paid in Albanian Lekë (ALL).

1.5 – CSSA reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but the products will be invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time the product request is made, subject to availability. The ordered materials and products cannot be processed and will remain the property of CSSA until full payment of the agreed and indicated price.

ARTICLE 2 – ORDER AND REQUESTS

Any order and card requests can be made and managed online, via the Website www.studentcard.al 

Users assume full responsibility for their use of the Platform. The Platform may provide Users access to a large amount of texts, graphics, drawings, designs, photographs, multimedia content, and information (hereinafter, the “Content”) belonging to CSSA or third parties.
The User is generally obliged to use the Platform diligently, in accordance with the law, morality, public order, and the provisions of these GTS, and must also refrain from using them in any way that may prevent, damage, or deteriorate the normal operation and enjoyment of the Platform by users or that could harm or cause damage to the property and rights of CSSA, its suppliers, users, or any third party in general.

Without limitation, Users agree not to use such Content or Services to:

(i) Make unauthorized or fraudulent use of the Platform;

(ii) Access or attempt to access restricted resources of the Platform;

(iii) Use the Platform for illicit, illegal purposes and/or contrary to the provisions of these GTS, harmful to the rights and interests of third parties, or that in any way may damage, disable, overload, or impede the normal use or enjoyment of the Platform;

(iv) Cause damage to the Platform or third-party systems;

(v) Introduce or disseminate computer viruses or any other physical or logical systems that may cause damage to CSSA or third parties’ systems;

(vi) Attempt to access, use, and/or manipulate CSSA, other Users’, or third parties’ data;

(vii) Reproduce, copy, distribute, transform, or modify the contents, allowing access to third parties through any form of public communication, unless authorized by the holder of the corresponding rights or legally permitted;

(viii) Obtain or attempt to obtain the contents by means or procedures other than those, as the case may be, made available for this purpose;

(ix) Attempt to access and/or use other Users’ email accounts and/or modify or manipulate their messages; and

(x) Users will not transmit their username and password to unauthorized third parties and will immediately inform CSSA of unauthorized user access.

In relation to the above, CSSA reserves the right to deny any attempt to access the Platform, remove or modify content, or cancel the provision of Services in cases where improper use of the Platform occurs, and may also exercise all legal actions that may correspond, with the User being responsible for the expenses that such acts may cause, as well as the damages and losses caused.

ARTICLE 3 – ELIGIBILITY AND VALIDITY

3.1 – The ISIC Card is strictly limited to individuals who meet the indicated requirements:

ISIC Card: Available to individuals who can prove they are students, enrolled in an accredited educational institution, and are at least 12 years old.

3.2 – Each card is valid for a specific period: from the date of issuance until the same date of the following year, therefore, for a period of 12 months.

ARTICLE 4 – PAYMENT TERMS

4.1 – Payments can be made securely through the website using credit or debit cards. Other payment methods may also be offered depending on the platform’s functionalities.
4.2 – Once payment is successfully completed, an email will confirm the order details, including the transaction receipt and card information. If any payment issue arises, the order may be canceled, and the client will be notified.
4.3 – All transactions are processed securely, with appropriate measures to protect the User’s financial data. CSSA assumes no liability for issues caused by third-party payment processors.

ARTICLE 5 – DELIVERY

5.1 – The delivery of cards is carried out digitally for all Users. Physical cards are sent by postal mail if requested, subject to shipping costs as mentioned in Article 1.
5.2 – Delivery times vary based on the User’s location. While CSSA aims to ensure prompt delivery, delays due to external factors (postal services, customs) are beyond its control.
5.3 – It is the User’s responsibility to provide accurate delivery details. CSSA will not be responsible for lost cards due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

ARTICLE 6 – CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

6.1 – Refunds are not possible once the card has been issued, as it is a personalized product. However, Users can contact customer support if an error is identified during the order process.
6.2 – Cancellation of orders is only permitted if the order has not been processed and the card has not been issued.
6.3 – Complaints related to faulty or incorrect cards should be made within 30 days of receipt. CSSA will investigate the issue and may issue a replacement card if warranted.

ARTICLE 7 – RESPONSIBILITIES

7.1 – CSSA guarantees the authenticity and validity of all issued cards and ensures that the platform complies with industry security standards.
7.2 – CSSA will not be held responsible for issues arising from improper use of the card or platform, including fraudulent activities conducted by the User.
7.3 – Users are responsible for ensuring their compliance with the eligibility criteria. Providing false documentation or information may result in the cancellation of the card without a refund.

ARTICLE 8 – PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

8.1 – All personal data provided during the application process will be treated in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and other applicable privacy laws.
8.2 – The data collected will be used solely for processing the card application, customer support, and internal analytics.
8.3 – Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their data by contacting CSSA directly at contact@stidentcard.al

ARTICLE 9 – MODIFICATIONS

9.1 – CSSA reserves the right to modify these GTS at any time. Changes will be communicated through the Platform, and continued use of the services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
9.2 – In the event of significant changes, affected Users will be notified in advance, and their explicit consent may be required for continued service.

Final Provisions

These GTS constitute the entire agreement between CSSA and the User, superseding any prior agreements or communications. In case of disputes, the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in Tirana, Albania.
